Reindeer Crossing~Charger Plate

Good Evening,

Tomorrow is the reindeer run/winter festival at my kids school. I was asked to chair this event and I can't wait until it is over. Why you might ask? So that I can get back to business as usual, LOL!! Anyway, I personalized this charger plate to greet guest as they register for the festivities in the morning.

I used cricut cartridge Winter Frolic for the title and Christmas Cheer for the reindeer and snowflakes. Those are such cute winter themed cartridges. If you don't already own them do add them to your holiday wish list immediately. The font is from Type Candy and I absolutely love this font. It is so adorable and one of my newest favorites!

I didn't want to do too much layering of the vinyl on this piece so I decided to add google eyes, felt pieces and bling for the collar and I colored in around the eyebrows and ears.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful night!

Mirrored Subway Art & other designs

Good Morning Bloggers,

Whew let me just say this right now, I am exhausted!! I have been crafting non stop for the last couple days. When I tell you that I have had both my expression and my expression 2 going at the same time, I did! No exaggeration necessary!

Technique, technique, technique. This week I have glittered ornaments, frosted glass, etched glassed, played with vinyl and cut paper. Christmas crafts are always so detailed and time consuming. I am determined to get them all done this year, LOL!! Wish me luck!.

Anyway, on to today's project. I picked up these mirrored trays last year to decorate and never got around to it so guess what? They are decorated just in time for gift giving. Woot Woot!!

This is a photo of all three mirrors.

With Sugar On Top~Cake Carrier

Can you all believe that Christmas is only 27 days away? Gosh, I have so many things to get done that I don't know where to begin. Anyway, this has been a very busy week for me. Preparing for a crop this weekend, finalizing the last details of the winter festival that I am chairing at the kids school this weekend, and getting ready for another season of basketball and cheerleading with Upward sports at our church.

.

Yesterday I literally spent the entire day in my craft room. I did manage to complete some projects and just organize others. I am starting to believe I have crafters attention deficit disorder, LOL. I jump all over the place when crafting. Anyway, enough of my rambling and on to today's project. You may have seen me post these before they are cake carriers I picked up at dollar tree a while back.

On this one I used the Cricut Cartridge "Winter Frolic" for everything. The title is cut at 2.50" and the candy border is cut at 2". I wrapped the handle with some ribbon I picked up at Michaels last Christmas.

I have several Christmas projects that I will be posting in the upcoming weeks (days) so be sure to stop by often.

.

Have a wonderful Thursday and do leave a word or two

iPod Birthday Card

Hello Bloggers,

It seems as if it has been forever since my last post. Well I have had a very busy couple of weeks. Anyway, today is my sons 10th birthday and I wanted to share the card I made for him. Along with a trip to Disney, video game/sleepover, my husband and I surprised him with an iPod touch for his birthday.

For his card I used cricut cartridge paisley for the ipod, DCWV paper stack, CTMH ink pads and stamp sets, along with some jute twine.

.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful evening!

I used the Artiste cartridge page 35 accent 1 along with the chipboard pieces for the "Happy Birthday" phrase. To achieve this look I used versamark stamp pad, embossing powder and my heat gun.

For the inside sentiment I used one of the CTHM Artiste coordinating stamp sets

Caelan's 10th Birthday party favors

Today is my son's birthday celebration. Yep I am almost the mother of a 10 year old little boy. Anyway, his birthday is actually on the 26th but today is the only time we would be able to have friends over for a small gathering. While browsing dollar tree this morning, I found some double wall tumblers so guess what? I brought them and decided to use them as part of his party favors.

The video game/sleep over is well underway. The children have been fed pizza, soda, chips and are patiently awaiting cooking cake and ice cream, YIPPEE!!

Here are some pictures of the favors. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend.

*Updated post* ~ I added the picture, Merry Christmas

I have challenged myself to get all of my layouts done from last years pictures before the end of this year. Having said that, today's layout is a picture taken last year on Christmas morning of the kids. They were pleasantly surprised when they opened the presents from grandma. A digital camera for my son and a tablet for my daughter. They are constantly reminded that Jesus is the reason for the season. I am so proud to have such blessings in my life.

This layout was inspired by the October stamp of the month from close to my heart. My version varies from the original but I tried to stay true to the sketch. I used the October stamp of the month for the ornament, snowflakes and mittens. I used the Artiste cartridge for the phrase. The paper is from Ecko Park "Merry Christmas" packet.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful evening,

Sharondalyn

Sweet Hugs and Kisses

My daughter has such a sweet personality and a kindred soul. She brightens my day every morning when she greets me with a warm smile, tight hug and soft kiss. Today's layout is inspired by my daughter and how very affectionate she is. We had spend the day at the Tennessee Aquarium this summer. She got up in her daddy's arms and gave him a big hug and kiss. Oh how we love that girl of ours.

Baseball

Good Morning,

After what seemed like weeks of not creating any layouts I finally finished one yesterday. This picture was taken last spring of my son with his baseball team. The team is composed of boys aged from 9-11 years old and it shows in their smiles :).

My son is pictured centered holding the baseball bat.

Video Controller Birthday Party Invite

Today I am thanking God I am forgiven on this Fabulous Friday evening. Yesterday I decided to let my son have his first sleep over for his 10th birthday. His birthday isn't until November 26 however, his sleepover is taking place next weekend. I know, his celebration will be two weeks shy of his actual birthday but there is good reasoning behind this decision, LOL!! His little sister will be attending a sleepover that weekend therefore, she won't be here to interrupt his boy time :). He was totally thrilled when I propositioned him yesterday.

Anyway, today I decided to make his birthday party invites. Since he is only allowed to invite three friends this wasn't so bad. The theme of his party is "Video Games". They are going to play video games, eat pizza, drink sodas and munch on chips until they fall fast asleep.

This card came from the cricut cartridge "Wrap It Up" page 30. I selected the card feature and used my gypsy to measure it at 5 inches. Next, I pressed the shift button and selected the game image. I used my gypsy to measure it at 5.12 inches so that it would fit over the card base. Selecting the layer feature I sized both of those images at 5.12 inches. Everything fit perfectly over the card base.

I added some faux stitching, stickles, buttons, stamped the greeting using my close to my heart "celebration" stamp set and black ink pad.

So fun and easy to create!! Thanks for stopping by and do leave a kind word or two!!
