Merry Christmas

Hoping everyone had a blessed holiday. Now that Christmas has come and gone which happens way too fast, maybe I can relax and enjoy my decorations before I take them down. I did manage to make a few projects for Christmas supper.

I decorate square chargers using the artiste cartridge and Martha steward elegant cake cartridge. The reindeer cupcakes were Pinterest inspired and of course a picture of my Christmas tree. This is the main tree set up in the family room. I have 5 full sized trees and several smaller trees 4ft r less.

Enjoy everyone!

Happy happy Wednesday everyone!! So how many names have you all checked off your Christmas lists? I can proudly say that I can check off two more names from my list! WooHoo!! Anyway, here are two gifts that I made for my neighbors who I am honored to call my friends. I used Cricut Alphabet for the font and Mickey and Friends for the swirls. Thanks for looking everyone!

Christmas Buckets, Reading Rewards and Teachers Gifts

Happy Tuesday!! I have three posts to share with you today. First up are the buckets I personalized for my daughters holiday party at school. I used CAC2 for the phrase "HoHoHo" and Birthday Bash for the font. These are rather easy to create and I decided to keep them simple since I had 26 to do.

Next up are sliding pencil cases that I personalized to use as treats for my sons reading incentive celebration. Only ten students received an invitation to this wonderful event and my son was one of ten. I picked these up at Walmart a while back and decided they need some vinyl. I put a pencil and some candy inside them. Cartridges used were Cursive 101 and CAC.

Last but not least are the teachers gifts. I think this past weekend I transformed into the personalization diva, LOL. Anyway, each teacher is receiving a pencil case filled with compartment sized kleenex and an ink pen, Santa-tizer, candle, double wall tumbler and ornament. Cartridges used were Creative Memories Holiday tags and frames, Nate's ABC font for the "Santa-tizer" label.

Sorry the pictures are not the best, I will try to take some more and post them later. I also made gifts for the current PTA present and the room parent of my son's class.

Collage Picture Frame

Good Evening,

Tonight I bring you a collage picture frame that I personalized for my good girlfriend and scrapping buddy. I used cricut cartridge "Suburbia" for the font and "Sentimental" for the phrase "Paper and Scissors". I designed everything on my gypsy and cut it out using orcal 635 vinyl and magic cover from the dollar tree as transfer tape. Added some embellishments by paper studio from Hobby Lobby and some flowers from the $1 bin at Michael's. It is her Christmas present and it matches her newly renovated scrap room.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to comment :)

Welcome to the Roxybonds scrappers team blog hop

Welcome to the Roxybonds scrappers team blog hop. We will be featuring artwork from the pear and partridge paper pack. If you have come here from http://roxybonds-scrappin.blogspot.com then you are on the right path. Your next stop will be http://keeleyskreations.blogspot.com/.

Today I created two cards using the pear and partridge workshop on the go kit. Both are size A2 cards. I also used the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge for the tag and banners. Let's talk about the first card. The ink pads that I used were hollyhock, olive and cocoa. I started with a standard A2 card base then, I cut the tag from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 3.50 using the colonial white paper and stamped the tree using the olive ink, inked the edges using hollyhock stamp pad and a sponge. I also stamped another tree in hollyhock ink and trimmed off the star then popped it up on a pop dot and adhered it to the tree. I went over it with a jelly roll clear star pen to give it some sparkle. To add some extra sparkle I used my jelly roll pen to create garland on the tree and just added some bling that was included in the WOTG kit. Next, I cut the banners at 1 inch using the AP cartridge. I trimmed them down to a height I was comfortable with. Next I stamped a boarder using the hollyhock ink pad on the colonial white card stock. I added some Jute twine to the tag. The sentiment reads "I'll never forget this Christmas..", which is a stamp that is included in the WOTG kit.

For card number 2 I used the same card base and stamped the sentiment "The Best Gift: Family" on white colonial card stock and popped it up using pop dots. I stamped a side boarder using one of the swirl stamps included in the WOTG kit. Added bling and it's a wrap.

Now hop on over to http://keeleyskreations.blogspot.com/ blog to see what she has created!!! Here is the order of the hop Jen Patrick: http://roxybonds-scrappin.blogspot.com

Etched glass ornament jar

Good day everyone,

Have you ever tried glass etching? It is easy enough but yet hard enough for me to mess it up, LOL. Lately I have been trying all kinds of things so be sure to check back often for new techniques and ideas. For today's post I used Armour glass etching cream and cricut cartridge Alphalicious. I think it turned out rather cute considering this was my very first attempt. What do you all think?

This is the front of the jar. I am not sure if you can see the etching part but it is the "crest", that is behind the letter A. It came from the "Alphalicious" cricut cartridge. The letter "A", came from fontopia cricut cartridge.

Here is the back of the jar

Peace is from the Joys of the Season cricut cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by and do come again..

Snowman Ornament

Happy Saturday!!

Today I bring to you an ornament I made for a crop I am attending this weekend. We were asked to bring an ornament to exchange with the ladies. There were no specifics and the ornament could have been brought or handmade. I still have not decided how I want to present my ornament but I am pleased with how it turned out.

I used Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge for the snowman hat and nose. My stash came in handy for the google eyes, mouth and flower on the hat. I also found some wire string, and pompoms for the ear muffs. The filling on the inside came from hobby lobby.

Thanks for looking and commenting, have a wonderful Saturday!

Reindeer Crossing~Charger Plate

Good Evening,

Tomorrow is the reindeer run/winter festival at my kids school. I was asked to chair this event and I can't wait until it is over. Why you might ask? So that I can get back to business as usual, LOL!! Anyway, I personalized this charger plate to greet guest as they register for the festivities in the morning.

I used cricut cartridge Winter Frolic for the title and Christmas Cheer for the reindeer and snowflakes. Those are such cute winter themed cartridges. If you don't already own them do add them to your holiday wish list immediately. The font is from Type Candy and I absolutely love this font. It is so adorable and one of my newest favorites!

I didn't want to do too much layering of the vinyl on this piece so I decided to add google eyes, felt pieces and bling for the collar and I colored in around the eyebrows and ears.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful night!

Mirrored Subway Art & other designs

Good Morning Bloggers,

Whew let me just say this right now, I am exhausted!! I have been crafting non stop for the last couple days. When I tell you that I have had both my expression and my expression 2 going at the same time, I did! No exaggeration necessary!

Technique, technique, technique. This week I have glittered ornaments, frosted glass, etched glassed, played with vinyl and cut paper. Christmas crafts are always so detailed and time consuming. I am determined to get them all done this year, LOL!! Wish me luck!.

Anyway, on to today's project. I picked up these mirrored trays last year to decorate and never got around to it so guess what? They are decorated just in time for gift giving. Woot Woot!!

This is a photo of all three mirrors.

With Sugar On Top~Cake Carrier

Can you all believe that Christmas is only 27 days away? Gosh, I have so many things to get done that I don't know where to begin. Anyway, this has been a very busy week for me. Preparing for a crop this weekend, finalizing the last details of the winter festival that I am chairing at the kids school this weekend, and getting ready for another season of basketball and cheerleading with Upward sports at our church.

.

Yesterday I literally spent the entire day in my craft room. I did manage to complete some projects and just organize others. I am starting to believe I have crafters attention deficit disorder, LOL. I jump all over the place when crafting. Anyway, enough of my rambling and on to today's project. You may have seen me post these before they are cake carriers I picked up at dollar tree a while back.

On this one I used the Cricut Cartridge "Winter Frolic" for everything. The title is cut at 2.50" and the candy border is cut at 2". I wrapped the handle with some ribbon I picked up at Michaels last Christmas.

I have several Christmas projects that I will be posting in the upcoming weeks (days) so be sure to stop by often.

.

Have a wonderful Thursday and do leave a word or two

iPod Birthday Card

Hello Bloggers,

It seems as if it has been forever since my last post. Well I have had a very busy couple of weeks. Anyway, today is my sons 10th birthday and I wanted to share the card I made for him. Along with a trip to Disney, video game/sleepover, my husband and I surprised him with an iPod touch for his birthday.

For his card I used cricut cartridge paisley for the ipod, DCWV paper stack, CTMH ink pads and stamp sets, along with some jute twine.

.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful evening!

I used the Artiste cartridge page 35 accent 1 along with the chipboard pieces for the "Happy Birthday" phrase. To achieve this look I used versamark stamp pad, embossing powder and my heat gun.

For the inside sentiment I used one of the CTHM Artiste coordinating stamp sets
