Vinyl on Ceramic tiles (and it's cute)

Ok, it is after midnight but I just had to post the soccer coaches gifts. I picked up these ceramic tiles at goodwill a while ago. Tonight I finally decided to customize them for my daughter's soccer coaches. They were so much fun to create and extremely easy. If you have never played with vinyl I suggest using this as a first project. The sizes of the tiles I used are 4 by 4 and 4 by 6. Here is my project, thanks for looking and supporting my blog. Goodnight, Sharondalyn

More cake carriers.

I had fun with this one guys. It is halloween themed and just in time for me to take treats in to the kids school tomorrow.
The front of the carrier says"Spooky Treats", the back says "Caution" and on top I added "Spiders". Next to the title I put creepy looking hands. All images came from the cricut cartridge "Happy Hauntings". Thanks for looking, Sharondalyn

Personalized cake carriers

It's vinyl Wednesday, Yahoo!!! Ok, where do I begin, at the beginning of course. Yesterday my mom and I was out shopping and somehow we managed to pay a visit to Dollar Tree. Imagine my surprise when I saw plastic cake carriers that were totally worthy of personalizing with vinyl. So yep that is what I stole time to do this evening, decorate them. They are so cute and easy to decorate. Plus for $1 each you can't go wrong. Thanks for stopping by my blog and do leave a comment or two!!

"Happy Hauntings" -Tee shirt

Here is the tee-shirt I designed for my son. The eyes glow in the dark. I used cricut cartridge October 31st for the eyes and Happy Hauntings for the phrase. The skull came from spooky alley which is a slice design card. He absolutely loved his shirt and wants to wear it to school tomorrow. Thanks for looking, Sharondalyn

"Trick or Treat" Tee-shirt

Good evening, Today I decided to stay home from working the book fair at the kids school and do some crafting. Guess what I played with today? Yep you guessed it tee-shirt/iron on vinyl. I have been wanting to design the kids some tee-shirts to wear during this Halloween season before it was over. Finally got them done today. One word describes how I feel about how the shirts turned out "Fantastic"! Thanks for looking bloggers and do leave a kind word or two. Sharondalyn

Feel Better

As promised here is the card I made for my girlfriend. For those of you who are not familiar I have a friend who generously donated one of her kidneys to her mother. What a precious gift and such a beautiful story. I started this card late last night and stayed up until about midnight. Added the finishing touched this afternoon. It is a very basic card, LOL. My cartridge of choice was Wild Card 2. I literally followed the example in the handbook. However, I did add some embossing and embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by today, don't forget to leave a kind word!! ~Sharondalyn~

Good Sunday Morning!!

Hello bloggers, It seems as if I haven't posted in forever!! Let me tell you guys that it's not because I have not been thinking of you. I just have not had any time to get any crafting done! Hopefully that will change soon. Anyway, I have gotten some shopping done. If you haven't checked out your local Hobby Lobby stores you might want to swing by tomorrow. They have some fantastic things on clearance. Hmmm, where should I start? I know, with the cricut things of course, LOL!! I picked up the following imagine cartridges for $10, JT and Nursery Rhymes. Imagine my surprise when sitting right next to the imagine cartridges I saw Toy Story and Disney Classics for $18. Yep had to have those too. For some strange reason I picked up campin critters also. Now here is the big kicker, LOL. They had the spellbinders grand caliber die cutting and embossing machine on clearance for $50. Let's all say "WOW" together. They also had a nice selection of dies for $9. I really needed emergency intervention. So I decided to call my husband. Seriously guys, I needed to be talked off the ledge. Can y'all guess what happened next? Well now Y'all just gone have to wait to find out in future blog post. Love you guys and have a wonderful Sunday!! ~Sharondalyn~ p.s. I also got some super cute new stamps from CTHM. Don't forget to shop with me where bloggers save 20% daily!!

The Same Yet Different...

Technique Tuesdays will now be Wacky Wildest Wednesdays. I am new at blogging and picking topics and it was brought to my attention that "Technique Tuesdays" was a copyrighted brand name. I so hope that Wacky Wildest Wednesdays isn't a copyrighted name as well. This series will feature some wacky, wild things that you discovered or attempted to create while card making or scrapbooking. Today, I made some tags and wanted to try heat embossing. Somehow this did not turn out as I had wished. My mind is definitely in a wacky state today (LOL). I used "Ink It Up" clear embossing pad and Martha Stewart flocking powder. Well let's just say that turned out pretty wacky!! Since that did not turn out the way I hope I repeated the process this time using "Stampendous" embossing powder. The results were much better. The tags are going on the baskets I made in honor of "Public Service Week". My kids school is honoring the local Firemen, Policemen and EMT's this week. Here are a couple of pictures from the baskets I made them. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful wild wacky Wednesday!! Please share your stories with me. ~Sharondalyn~
