Now on with the hop!

You should have arrived here from Haidee~http://created2bunique.blogspot.com

Let me now share my project. I love altering objects so I decided to decorate a wooden sleigh by Art Minds. Last year during the holiday season I picked it up with the intention of decorating it. Well you know how the holidays go and time waits for no one. That is one of the reasons I decided to participate in this hop!! This year I am a few steps ahead of the game.

First I painted the sleigh with chalkboard paint. After it dried I cut out the saying with oracal 631 vinyl using my silhouette cameo machine. The saying came from the silhouette store. Once the saying was cut, I removed the negative parts. Then I used clear contact paper to transfer the saying onto the sleigh. This process is very easy but can be tricky. Patience is a must!!! Once the image was transferred, I added some embellishments, sealant and it is all done. Ready to be placed anywhere in the home or given away as a present. If anyone in your family or even you are a Georgia Bulldog fan or just a fan of black, red and white, then this is the perfect present!!
