State Fair

Here is a layout I did of our day at the state fair. I do not know why I got on the spinning ride with my daughter because I did not feel well afterwards. Needless to say, I was only in this one picture then we let the kids ride on a few more attractions and that was the end of this trip. For the layout I used the cricut lite cartridge "Carousel". This is such a cute cartridge and has such versatile images. Thanks for stopping by and do leave a word or two.

Berry Pickin

I have been working on layouts from our blue berry picking adventure last summer. To date, I have completed four pages. Yay, I am on a roll!! At this pace, I will be finished in no time. Anyway, on the first two page spread, I used my imagine to print the blue berry paper, the font is from the cricut alphabet cartridge that came preloaded with the E2, twine, embellishments & a pre~assembled "ten" things journal tab. For the second two page spread, I used paper from a stack by momenta titled "super paper pad", which has a nice summer theme. The font is from opposites attract, the lace pattern is from paper lace 2. I also added some stickles & rhinestones for extra bling. Thanks for looking & I do enjoy all comments. ~Hugs~

Cow Girl Up & Sweet Princess

I also decided to play with my new peachy keen stamps today. I used paper doll dress up for the doll images & clothes and the peachy keen stamp Basic paper doll PK-570 for the cowgirl and pk-490 everyday character for the sweet princess. The cowgirl is cut at 2 and 1/2 and the sweet princess is cut at 1 1/2. I had fun with those but they were time consuming. Thanks for looking and do lease a word or two! ~hugs~

Berry Picky

Seems I have been gone forever and I truly have, LOL!! I started out in California on the West Coast for a sweet getaway had to make a detour to Chicago due to a death in my family. My grandmother lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. I am saddened by her passing but holding on to God's love, grace & mercy. A wise person told me crafting heals and comforts the soul. Now that I am back home after three weeks I buried myself in my craft room all day today. Be on the lookout for LO's in memory of my grandmother but for right now, I did the last page of my strawberry picking layouts. Enjoy and do leave comments.

Berry Sweet

Here is a layout I did from our day at the Strawberry patch. I used the following cricut cartridges "Simply Charmed", and "Rock Princess". I also used some embellishments from Jolee's and the new we r memory keepers wasabi tape. Thanks for looking and do leave a comment. I really enjoy reading them :)

Vacationing in Southern California

I can hardly believe it myself, my family and I are vacationing in Southern California and yet I am stuck in my hotel room because. Why? Well it is weather is not as warm as I thought it would have been. Today's high is only 75 and right now it is 66. When I think of California, I think of sunny skies, beaches and bikini's. Well the sky is sunny but the weather is rather chilly to me. I guess I am so used to the hot and humidity of Georgia huh!! Did I mention the 3 hour time difference is driving me bananas!! The kids are up at 4am because they are still on Georgia time. Imagine that!! I need to tell them school is still in session, that way they will sleep a little later. Anyway, this gives me a reason to visit the area malls and see what I can find. I have never been into a mall without stopping at a craft store :). Anyway, I did manage to finish my daughter's 7th birthday album and I only have a few more pages left to complete in my strawberry picking album. I will post pictures when I return home since I forgot to snap them before I we left. Look out for fabulous layouts of the beach, and other tourist spots when I return. Thanks for your support!! ~Sharondalyn~

"A little Birdie Told Me..."

I made this LO for my daughter's birthday album. I am giving myself only a couple of days to get all of her pictures from her 7th birthday into her album. So no later than Thursday guys. Hold me to it. Ok, so here are the details. I used cricut cartridges "Straight from the Nest" and Disney "Pooh Font". I also used my new EK Success punch to create the border at the top of the page. That is such a great punch because it does two designs that you can layer. I picked it up at Michaels over the weekend using a 50% off coupon. It is regularly priced at $27 which is expensive if you ask me. The paper is from the paper studio stack titled " Make A Wish". Thanks for looking.
