Trick or treat wooden sign!

Happy Saturday! I'm off to take the kiddos apple picking but wanted to share this sign I made before we headed out for the day.

The image came from the silhouette store. The paint is called "pumpkin" and is by craftmart.

Thanks for taking a look and supporting my blog.

Have a great day!

"Candy collectors" wooden sign

It's Friday!!!! Woohoo and just one week or should I say 8 days until Halloween... Creepy crawly and scary things will appear on your door step, ring your bell and say "Trick or Treat". How will you greet them?

Well here's an idea. With this adorable wooden sign that says, "Welcome Candy Collectors".

File comes from the silhouette design store. All other supplies were into stash. I measured the wooden piece, then pulled the file to the appropriate size and set up my machine to cut vinyl.

Such a fun, easy project to add to your already festive Halloween decor!!!

Be sure to leave a comment letting me know you stopped by. I'm "brewing" up a surprise that I am going to share with you all when the clock strikes midnight soon.

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Pumpkin sweets spooks and treats wooden sign!

Good afternoon,

I have another project that I would like to share with you today. It's a wooden sign in the shape of a tombstone that I have altered. Don't you just LOVE altering objects? Well I do and if you need inspiration to start, you'll find it right here today!!!

For the sign I painted it black using acrylic paint, let it dry. Then I searched the silhouette design store for a cute saying, and measured the wooden piece for sizing. Ungrouped the image so I could use different color vinyl. Cut everything out on my silhouette cameo using the vinyl setting with the blade on 2, pressure and depth/thickness on 5 & 10.

Hope you all enjoy and thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check back for more ghoulish favors!!!

Don't forget to comment so I will know you came. I'm gearing up for a spooky giveaway and you will want to be counted!!

Welcome

Good Morning!!! Over the weekend I had out of town guests and I wanted to make them feel welcomed into my home. So what better way to do that than to greet them with a handmade card!! This file came from the silhouette design store and all the paper and embellishments are from my stash!

Monogrammed chevron design tumblers

It's Sunday!!! I was glad when they said unto me "come let us go unto the house of the lord". Happy Sunday everyone. Today I am bringing to you all some tumblers that I did as a special request for a friend who is turning 40 this month. She and some girl friends are having a getaway birthday celebration Puerto Rico.

She asked that each girl last initial of their last name be monogrammed on a tumbler with their first name spelled out. Well having access to a silhouette cameo machine and their design store made this all to easy!

Here are the tumblers...

The design was purchased in the silhouette store as well as the font used to spell out the names. I used oracal 631 vinyl and of course transfer paper to apply the vinyl.

I discovered vinyl years ago when I first got my Cricut expression machine and have been in love with it ever since!!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend. I know I sure did. Anyway, today I would like to share with you all some graduation tumblers I made for a graduation party that I am hosting this weekend. I have tons more crafts to make and these were first up on my long crafty to do list.

The "class of" is cut from the cricut cartridge Wild Card @ 3 inches. I cut the graduation cap @ 2.5 inches from the Happy Graduation cricut cartridge and the 2013 was cut @ 1/2 inch using Alphabet that came preloaded on my E2. The ribbon is from Ribbon Boutique.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back later in the week for more graduation goodies.

Collage Picture Frame

Good Evening,

Tonight I bring you a collage picture frame that I personalized for my good girlfriend and scrapping buddy. I used cricut cartridge "Suburbia" for the font and "Sentimental" for the phrase "Paper and Scissors". I designed everything on my gypsy and cut it out using orcal 635 vinyl and magic cover from the dollar tree as transfer tape. Added some embellishments by paper studio from Hobby Lobby and some flowers from the $1 bin at Michael's. It is her Christmas present and it matches her newly renovated scrap room.

Tumblers

Hello everyone, hope my followers are doing great!! What a busy week I had. Between returning from my visit to Chicago, and handling last minute PTA business, I hardly had time to make graduation gifts for my girlfriends daughters. So you guys know what that means right, I was up extremely late last night crafting. I decided to decorate tumblers I picked up at Ross. They were a great buy at $3.99 each. Both girls are entering middle school this fall. I used beyond birthdays and wrap it up for the phrases. Enjoy!!
