Embroidered kitchen towels from dollar tree

Well hello! Good evening! I've been as busy as a bee today. Getting the house in order and preparing for Santa's arrival. But not too busy to get some last minute Christmas presents/crafting done.

I picked up these kitchen towels at dollar tree and decided I could spiffy them up a bit.

Love how they turned out and I'm really enjoying my last years Christmas present, lol.

Chapstick and EOS/REVO lip balm holders

With only three days left until Christmas Day, I'm sure everyone is as busy as can be. So I'm going to keep this post short, sweet and to the point.

Santa Sacks

T'was 4 days before Christmas and I was as busy as can be. Personalizing Santa sacks and finishing gifts for friends and family!!!

Hubby was in his workshop pecking away at his keyboard and monitoring our bank account on the computer screen. 

St Nick is coming but so is Wells Fargo, AT&T and Comcast, lol!!!

For my project I decided to try my hand at machine embroidery.

Last year I received a brother SE400 personal embroidery machine for Christmas, and I am just now getting the hang of it this year. I was browsing pinterest for free images and came across this cute design. This gift will be given to my girlfriend 14year old daughter. Hello everyone! Wow time has just flown by and I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since my last post. Well it wasn't because I haven't been creating that's for sure. With the holidays in full swing and all the school performances, class parties and holiday sight seeing, I just haven't had time to blog. Well as I sit in carpool listening to some music from my "heyday", I decided to post my latest creation. 

My good friend requested I create something for her daughter who loves horses and is currently taking riding lessons. So here it is 

The file came from the silhouette design store and the font I downloaded from "DaFont". I'm delivering this today and I hope she likes it!

My project for today are a couple of Christmas cards that I made for a card workshop.  Here's a picture of my project....

I used my silhouette cameo for the candy cane cards and my cricut explore for the stockings card. The stockings came from the close to my heart "Art Philosophy" cartridge. The "string of lights" came from the October stamp of the month from close to my heart.  Plus I used a cuttlebug embossing folder.

My project for today is a burlap ornament door hanger. I can't take all the credit for this project. Last night was ladies craft night at a friend of mines church. She invited me and boy was I glad I went! We had such a wonderful time crafting and fellowshiping  together.  Here's a picture of my project....

 The shape was pre drawn  on the burlap and it was already primed. I trimmed the edges then used hot glue to adhere both the top and bottom pieces. Left an openings so I could stuff it.  Then closed it using the hot glue. Afterwards, I drew in the circles and ornament topper then painted it! Such fun!

Now on to my project for today, we are well into the Christmas season and I'm sure advent calendars and Santas elves are popping up everywhere. So I decided to turn a charger into a wall plaque or you can display it on an easel. This reminds the children that the elves are watching!  The file was in the silhouette design store. The little elves I picked up from dollar tree and used heat transfer vinyl to personalize them.  Do any of you own a "versatool"? If not hurry and go buy one now! I used it to put the holes into the charger and run the ribbon thru it! Totally fun!

I picked up this board at Michaels and thought it would make a great sign. Knowing how much I love to alter items, this was perfect.
