Merry Christmas

Hoping everyone had a blessed holiday. Now that Christmas has come and gone which happens way too fast, maybe I can relax and enjoy my decorations before I take them down. I did manage to make a few projects for Christmas supper.

I decorate square chargers using the artiste cartridge and Martha steward elegant cake cartridge. The reindeer cupcakes were Pinterest inspired and of course a picture of my Christmas tree. This is the main tree set up in the family room. I have 5 full sized trees and several smaller trees 4ft r less.

Enjoy everyone!

Happy happy Wednesday everyone!! So how many names have you all checked off your Christmas lists? I can proudly say that I can check off two more names from my list! WooHoo!! Anyway, here are two gifts that I made for my neighbors who I am honored to call my friends. I used Cricut Alphabet for the font and Mickey and Friends for the swirls. Thanks for looking everyone!

Christmas Buckets, Reading Rewards and Teachers Gifts

Happy Tuesday!! I have three posts to share with you today. First up are the buckets I personalized for my daughters holiday party at school. I used CAC2 for the phrase "HoHoHo" and Birthday Bash for the font. These are rather easy to create and I decided to keep them simple since I had 26 to do.

Next up are sliding pencil cases that I personalized to use as treats for my sons reading incentive celebration. Only ten students received an invitation to this wonderful event and my son was one of ten. I picked these up at Walmart a while back and decided they need some vinyl. I put a pencil and some candy inside them. Cartridges used were Cursive 101 and CAC.

Last but not least are the teachers gifts. I think this past weekend I transformed into the personalization diva, LOL. Anyway, each teacher is receiving a pencil case filled with compartment sized kleenex and an ink pen, Santa-tizer, candle, double wall tumbler and ornament. Cartridges used were Creative Memories Holiday tags and frames, Nate's ABC font for the "Santa-tizer" label.

Sorry the pictures are not the best, I will try to take some more and post them later. I also made gifts for the current PTA present and the room parent of my son's class.

Collage Picture Frame

Good Evening,

Tonight I bring you a collage picture frame that I personalized for my good girlfriend and scrapping buddy. I used cricut cartridge "Suburbia" for the font and "Sentimental" for the phrase "Paper and Scissors". I designed everything on my gypsy and cut it out using orcal 635 vinyl and magic cover from the dollar tree as transfer tape. Added some embellishments by paper studio from Hobby Lobby and some flowers from the $1 bin at Michael's. It is her Christmas present and it matches her newly renovated scrap room.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to comment :)

Christmas Card

Good evening, Here is a Christmas card that I was inspired to make from a recent visit to Archivers. It is a stamp by Our Daily Bread. To see the piece click here http://www.archiversonline.com/ideas/cards-and-invitations-2012-holiday-17-christmas-tree-words-card-3894 The instructions are provided and I head embossed instead of just stamping the image. I used versa mark and ranger red embossing powder. Thanks for looking and I am sure that holiday crafts are keeping everyone busy!

Welcome to the Roxybonds scrappers team blog hop

Welcome to the Roxybonds scrappers team blog hop. We will be featuring artwork from the pear and partridge paper pack. If you have come here from http://roxybonds-scrappin.blogspot.com then you are on the right path. Your next stop will be http://keeleyskreations.blogspot.com/.

Today I created two cards using the pear and partridge workshop on the go kit. Both are size A2 cards. I also used the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge for the tag and banners. Let's talk about the first card. The ink pads that I used were hollyhock, olive and cocoa. I started with a standard A2 card base then, I cut the tag from the Art Philosophy cartridge at 3.50 using the colonial white paper and stamped the tree using the olive ink, inked the edges using hollyhock stamp pad and a sponge. I also stamped another tree in hollyhock ink and trimmed off the star then popped it up on a pop dot and adhered it to the tree. I went over it with a jelly roll clear star pen to give it some sparkle. To add some extra sparkle I used my jelly roll pen to create garland on the tree and just added some bling that was included in the WOTG kit. Next, I cut the banners at 1 inch using the AP cartridge. I trimmed them down to a height I was comfortable with. Next I stamped a boarder using the hollyhock ink pad on the colonial white card stock. I added some Jute twine to the tag. The sentiment reads "I'll never forget this Christmas..", which is a stamp that is included in the WOTG kit.

For card number 2 I used the same card base and stamped the sentiment "The Best Gift: Family" on white colonial card stock and popped it up using pop dots. I stamped a side boarder using one of the swirl stamps included in the WOTG kit. Added bling and it's a wrap.

Now hop on over to http://keeleyskreations.blogspot.com/ blog to see what she has created!!! Here is the order of the hop Jen Patrick: http://roxybonds-scrappin.blogspot.com

Etched glass ornament jar

Good day everyone,

Have you ever tried glass etching? It is easy enough but yet hard enough for me to mess it up, LOL. Lately I have been trying all kinds of things so be sure to check back often for new techniques and ideas. For today's post I used Armour glass etching cream and cricut cartridge Alphalicious. I think it turned out rather cute considering this was my very first attempt. What do you all think?

This is the front of the jar. I am not sure if you can see the etching part but it is the "crest", that is behind the letter A. It came from the "Alphalicious" cricut cartridge. The letter "A", came from fontopia cricut cartridge.

Here is the back of the jar

Peace is from the Joys of the Season cricut cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by and do come again..

Snowman Ornament

Happy Saturday!!

Today I bring to you an ornament I made for a crop I am attending this weekend. We were asked to bring an ornament to exchange with the ladies. There were no specifics and the ornament could have been brought or handmade. I still have not decided how I want to present my ornament but I am pleased with how it turned out.

I used Christmas Cheer Cricut Cartridge for the snowman hat and nose. My stash came in handy for the google eyes, mouth and flower on the hat. I also found some wire string, and pompoms for the ear muffs. The filling on the inside came from hobby lobby.

Thanks for looking and commenting, have a wonderful Saturday!
