Woodstock "Critters" Swarm
Happy Thursday Bloggers!!
This weekend I am attending a crop with a wonderful group of ladies. We call ourselves the woodstock swarmers. Swarms are usually held once every two to three months in Woodstock, Georgia. The theme of this months swarm is "Critters". Exchanging calling cards are so much fun to give and receive and since I just finished mines, I thought it would be a good idea to share them with you guys.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend!!

Week 2 Technique Tuesday:Glue Stamping/Flocking
Good afternoon everyone,
Today's technique tuesday uses stamping with a glue pad and flocking powder. I should have made a video of this technique. Next time. Well anyway, this was my first time doing this technique. If I might say so myself it was rather easy. Materials needed are a glue pad, stamp and flocking powder, heat gun (optional). The first thing I did was apply a liberal amount of glue to the pad. Next I applied glue to my stamp. Then I stamped my image onto the paper. Last, I covered the stamped image with flocking powder. I repeated the steps until I had a completed my background.
I absolutely love the results!! Here are some pictures of my project. This is a page from our trip to the Tennessee Aquarium. Sometimes I use we r memory keepers pocket pages. They are a fast and easy way to get pages done quickly and still leave room for creativity!!
Thanks and don't forget to share your favorite techniques with me!!

Technique Tuesdays
Happy Tuesday everyone,
I am going to start a new series called technique Tuesdays. Today's layout is from our trip last year to the Tennessee Aquarium. I used several techniques while creating this layout. It was so much fun to create. Technique Tuesdays will allow me to showcase new, traditional and never heard of before techniques. I sure hope you all will join me in techniques by sharing or commenting some of your favorite techniques.
Thanks for looking and commenting,

Drivers License
My daughter had a school project this week and the assignment was to pick a number then write everything that makes that number special. She chose number 16. Her reason was due to the fact that she could then get a drivers license. I made this drivers license for her poster board. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous Friday!

Thunder River
I am finishing up the last couple of Layouts from our trip to Six Flags over Georgia last summer. Today's layout is of the kids on a ride called "Thunder River". The kids really enjoy this ride as it takes you down a roaring river at about 25-35mph. If your looking to get wet look no farther than this ride. Between the waterfalls and the water guns you are sure to get soaked!!
For this layout I used my new "It's Your Day" acrylix stamps from Close To My Heart. These stamps can be yours for just $5 with a $35 dollar purchase. Did I mention that this stamp set coordinates with the new Artiste cricut cartridge? It does! If you would like to order this stamp set or any other items please contact me. Thanks so much for looking and have a wonderful Thursday!

Splish Splash
Today's layout is from our time spent at "Skull Island" water park located inside of Six Flags over Georgia. My daughter had such a good time playing in the water and on the slides it was hard to capture every moment.
For this cartridge I used "Wall Decor and More" cartridge for the title, Disney's "Happily Ever After" cartridge for the water marks, "Spongebob Square Pants" for the wave and "Elegant Edges" for the photo mats.
Thanks for looking and be sure to leave a comment!

Log Jamboree
Happy Sunday!! Here is another layout from our trip last year to Six Flags over Georgia. The kids and Charlene (my scrappin friend) had such a good time riding all of the rides. Charlene was brave enough to get on the "Log Jamboree", which is a family water ride. The splash was so big that I thought they would be totally soaked! They got a little wet but had a lot of fun! Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Friday, today is fun family friday in my house but it is also baseball season so that means I have some time to play in my craft room. Here is a layout that I did yesterday of our trip to Six Flags over Georgia last summer. We go every year and we are current season pass holders. The kids have a great time and now that my son is tall enough to ride everything, he begs to go everyday!
Be on the lookout for more layouts from our days spent at Six Flags.

They have all kinds of stuff on clearance starting at 25 cents. When I heard "25 cents, it didn't take much more convincing, LOL!! So off I went to Joann's which was about a 15 minute drive from my house. When I walked into the store she met me at the door with a cart already started for me. Here are some pictures of my haul, I really need to figure out how to do videos!
