Well guys, I posted a few days ago about the clearance buckets at Michael's along with some ideas on how to personalize them. So guess what I have been doing the past couple days? They are so much fun to do and thanks a sweet friend who gave me some vinyl in such terrific colors, I was able to play all day yesterday and part of today with vinyl. So without farther delay, buckets my way...

Create A Critter 2 (Sneak a Peek CCR required)

Happy Thursday everyone,
Yesterday I decided I would give card making another try since today is my aunt's 45th birthday. Yeah I know, I know the card won't get to her in time but it's better late than never. On My Honor
I have decided that I am going to use a different cartridge every time I decide to make a layout, card or project. With that being said, today I decided to use the cricut lite "Bloom" cartridge. I had so much fun with this cartridge as it is perfect for just about any spring/summer or daisy scout layout. The next pages I am going to share from my daughters investiture ceremony into her Daisy scout troop. She was so nervous but you could hardly tell. We worked very hard learning the girl scout pledge and law. Afterwards we enjoyed a light buffet and and reflected on the day's events.
For the entire project I used the cricut lite "Bloom" cartridge.
Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave a comment.
Goodnight,
Sharondalyn
Items used:
Cricut Lite "Bloom" cartridge
Twine
Buttons
K and Company "Brownie Scout Paper Pad"
The Grouchy Ladybug
Good evening, I am diligently working on finishing my daughter's first grade school year photo layouts. Last year on around Halloween they had storybook character day at her school. The children were allowed to dress in costume as a favorite character from a book and bring the book to school to read to their classmates. Well guess what story happens to be my daughter's favorite? You guessed it! "The Grouchy Ladybug" by Eric Carle. He is one of my favorite authors of children's books. Anyway, luckily we found a ladybug costume at our local Kmart and there we have it. Amber was a nice lady bug. She is much too sweet to ever be grouchy.
I used the following cartridges on this layout,
Letter Envy Font for the title
Best Images of 2007 for the ladybug
Teresa Collins Black & White Imagine Cartridge for the pink & black paper (Frame)
Ladybug brads
Flowers by the paper studio
Google eyes (variety pack from dollar tree)
The frame (I can't remember what cartridge it came from), I had better start taking notes from now on (LOL0.
Thanks for looking, have a great evening!

Bargians at Michaels
Whew what a shopping adventure I had today. A good friend of mines posted that Michael's had sand buckets on clearance for twenty cents. Well needless to say, I searched all weekend for those things with no luck. Guess what!! That same friend of mines called all around until she found them. So, off I went at the height of rush hour to go get the bargains. I brought a total of 100 buckets. Pinterest, google and yahoo search engines has some fantastic ideas on how to personalize them using vinyl.
I just cant wait to create!! Anyway, here are some pictures that I borrowed off of FB from my girlfriend. They are not of my shopping haul, receipt or creative ideas. But whoever they belong too, they did a fantastic job and I am loving the inspiration.
Thanks and enjoy!!

School Spirit Day Posters
I was asked to make posters for spirit days at my kids school. I am beginning to think that I might need to learn the word "no" and use it often, LOL. Anyway, lately I have been spending so much time making projects for others that I haven't had time to work on my own personal things :(. Anyway, I am not a poster maker so this is what I managed to come up with on such short notice. I was asked on Wednesday and they needed them on Thursday to hang in the school (that day). Our school symbol is a wave which stands for "we are varner elementary".
Ingredients:
Cuttin Up Font Cartridge
Robots
Dude
Recollections Card stock

Red Ribbon Week
It seems as if it has been a long time since I posted. The beginning of the school year is always a busy one for students, teachers and parents alike. Anyway, I am working on my daughter's school album and I am up to grade 1. Yay!! That is a good thing since she just entered 2nd grade which means I am not too far behing *smiling*. Without farther delay here is the two page spread I have been working on this week along with other things.
The materials I used were
Cricut Expression 2 machine
Cricut Classmates cartridge "Thinking of School" for the title. Lots of layers and I colored the ends of the pencils and crayons with 3-D coloring pens.
Cricut "Heritage" cartridge for the school house. I also added faux stitching and the cricut cartridge protective packaging came in handy for the windows. I also got the scroll from the Heritage cartridge.
We r memory keepers "sew easy" tool & floss for the stitching (takes a lot of time next time), but so much fun!
The solid paper is Die cuts with a view cardstock and the printed paper I just don't remember (sorry) who it's made by. I've had it such a long time.
Thanks for looking.

Open house
Whew what a day!!! It all began when I decided that I would make some treats to take to the school for my kids teachers for open house tonight. I knew that today was going to be a very long day for most of them so I decided I wanted to bake them something special. I decided to make them zero calorie cinnamon muffins :). So anyway, the drama began when my imagine did not want to cut whatever it printed. Even after I updated it. Little stinker!! Next, my gypsy decided it did not want to add layers to any of my projects. So now it is a little snot of a machine. Anyway, my trusty expression 2 came to my rescue. This was my first time using the cricut cartridge "Sweet tooth boxes" and let me just tell ya one thing, that cartridge is totally fun and easy to use!!
I apologize for the pictures they are not perfect since I was in a hurry and running out of time due to the issues with my imagine and gypsy.
For my project I used DCWV "Nana's Kitchen", and I used the cricut cartridge Sweet Tooth boxes. For the window I used the packaging from the cricut cartridges. Those things come in handy so if you don't save them already, start doing so ASAP.

Birthday Boy
My grandfather loved his shirt and wore it proudly. Here is the proof!!
I really enjoyed spending precious time with him and creating more memories to scrapbook. However, I was so tired from the should have been 7 hour car ride which turned into a 10 hour car ride. When will husbands listen to wives and kids? He drove us in the wrong direction for 2 hours! What gives. We got home at 10 o'clock at night the day before school starts!! I was totally exhausted and decided we were not going on anymore road trips this year!! LOL!!
Today I worked on some school layouts which I will post later.
Thanks for looking,

Celebrating 80
This weekend my grandfather is turning 80 and my aunt is giving him a huge birthday. Looks as if I am packing up the kiddo's once again before school starts. Arkansas here come the Newton's!!! Anyway, I made him this card & tee-shirt as part of his present. Along with 80 big ones!! Keep in mind that I am not a card maker.
The theme of the party is "It's a jean & tee shirt thang", so I decided to make a card & tee-shirt that reflected that. The color scheme is red and white.
For the card, I used my gypsy to weld together two tee-shirts that I selected from cricut cartridge "Paper doll Teen scene". I also flipped one of the shirts. The font is from cricut cartridge "Cricut classmate cartridge cursive" and the cake is from "Cricut cartridge Sweet Treats". I also added a little twine, brad and some faux stitching.
Thanks for looking..
~Sharondalyn~
Here is the tee-shirt I made. For the font I used Cricut Cartridge "Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art" and the date is from "Cricut cartridge Jubilee". I used heat transfer/tee shirt vinyl which I purchased from www.expressionsvinyl.com. That vinyl is so user friendly if you have not tried it hurry up!! Once you try it you will definitely want to keep using it over and over again!!

PTA Membership Drive Poster
Well today was meet~n~greet at the kids school and the first of many PTA membership drives. I decided to make a poster to kick off the event. For this project I used several cricut cartridges. I will attempt to recall them all, the font is "Plantin Schoolbook", the circles I hand cut using my "creative memories cutting system", the waves came from the "Going places" cartridge, and the man fishing in the boat and the fishes, well let's just say he came from the "I forgot cartridge" LOL and the bucket came from the cricut lite cartridge "Handy Man". The wording on the bucket are puffy "thickers" stickers. I also used some eyelets and some paper twine. Thanks for looking.
Welcome Back
Good Thursday Morning Bloggers,
As you all know I spoil my kids teachers and I love doing it!! Today is meet n greet at the kids school today so I decided to make a little gift for the teachers. This year, my son has two teachers so I will be making three of everything. More fun for me. As I browsed dollar tree yesterday I noticed these very plain bottles of hand sanitizer that I could easily remove the labels from. Just so happens I really love playing with vinyl and look what popped up... Do you all like them? I think they came out really cute and since it was my first time attempting to decorate such a thing, I am especially happy with the turn out. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Thursday! ~Sharondalyn~
I used the initial of the teachers last names on all of them except for one. My teachers this year have very long last names. But non-the-less, I will enjoy making treats for them throughout the entire year. Enjoy

Nifty at?
Here is another project that I completed over the weekend while my mom was visiting. I hate to admit it but I am tired of crafting, at least for the next 15 minutes, LOL!! Anyway, it is for my aunt who turned 78 August 4. In my opinion, it is better to receive a present late than never. I love my aunt to pieces. Hope she enjoys wearing this tee shirt. 3 bird's life's a party is the cartridge of choice for this project. It has such cute phrases and projects for birthdays.
Thanks for looking,

I'm not 60!!
My mom came to visit me this past weekend and boy did the cricut have a workout! We played with vinyl until we ran out of vinyl. I am getting ready to place another order with expressions vinyl as I type. Anyway, she wanted me to personalize a tee-shirt for her cousin's 60th birthday. I used heat transfer vinyl with I purchased from www.expressionsvinyl.com. Great people to do business with, fast shipping too!! The cricut cartridges I used were craft room basics (it is loaded onto my gypsy), and Jubilee (oldie but goodie). The settings I used was 3-6-3 works great every time. The tee-shirt game from walmart $3.43. Ok followers, tell me what you think and thanks for looking.

Christmas in August
Yes it is about that time of year again. I know for some of us we don't want to think about it but we have exactly 141 days 50 minutes and 26 seconds until Christmas. So guess what I did this weekend? That's right I made Christmas gifts. My mom came to visit and she and I had a crafty good time. We spent the entire weekend personalizing chargers for our annual Christmas family banquet. Joann's had individual vinyl sheets on sale for $1.76 a sheet with an additional 25% off your total purchase. We picked up a few sheets of vinyl, chargers and we were happy shoppers. Here is what we accomplished this weekend. Thanks for looking and following my blog.
Baby Carriage Card
One of my good friends from high school just became a grandmother. So, I decided to make her a card and a gift basket. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the basket before I gave it to her. But here is a look at the card. I used the cricut cartridge cricut alphabet that came preloaded on the E2. The paper is from the paper studio "Sweet Pea" which is
available for purchase at Hobby Lobby.

Birthday Present for my aunt
Good Morning everyone, thanks so much for following my blog. I know that it isn't the fanciest block or the cutest blog on the block but it is my blog. I enjoy posting my projects here and reading all of the wonderful comments from my followers. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I was talking to my aunt on the phone and she mentioned to me that she wanted a cricut. She had heard from other family members that I had one. She told me that she had seen them featured on HSN and really wished she had the money to buy one. So guess what I am giving her for her birthday. That's right you guessed it a cricut. I decided that I would introduce her to the bug slowly and then let her upgrade as necessary.
I was able to her a gently used baby bug for $25. Yep that's all. It did not come with a cartridge but it did come with a brand new mat and a cute cover. Now y'all know I love vinyl so here is my latest project. I decorated her cricut and I also made her a binder for the instructions. The machine did not come with the original instructions. Which was perfect because it gave me the chance to use my "bind it all" book binder by zutter. That thing was still brand new in the box and all the packaging in the back of my closet. Had been there for almost 2 years.
So without farther ado, here is my project. The instruction booklet is cardboard with distressed crackle paint and tim holtz distressed inks. I also sprayed goosebumps texture spray to give it shine and of course texture. Guess what I did next? Yep, vinyl, vinyl, vinyl. Word collage is a perfect cartridge for home decor and gifts using vinyl.
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.
